    Hi lads,
Flying economy tomorrow to Nairobi with British Airways. Back a bit sore, just wondering does it cost much/is it much hassle to upgrade another class to get a more comfortable seat. Cheers.

It will vary - and may not even be possible (if the flight is full etc). Sometimes they offer it for sale at the airport if the flight has light loads. Otherwise it may cost the full wallop, which can be quite expensive.

If you can check your booking on ba.com, there is normally a link there which "upgrade my booking with cash" you can try, or call them to see. If that doesn't work, ask at the desk in Heathrow if they are selling any upgrades on your flight. You might get lucky as they do sometimes offer them on the day, but equally be prepared to ensure the flight in economy if there are now discounted upgrades available.

On BA the next class up is premium economy but there is only a small amount of seats in that cabin so availability may be limited if there is any at all.
