    Hey,

Had my heart set on an Audi A4 TDI but with my annual km of about 15000 a year I've been rightly told by many here not do go for a diesel.

So firstly thanks for all the advise over the last while :)

Secondly, I've been looking at these:
    http://www.carzone.ie/search/BMW/3-Series/320-I-CO/813257600526750/advert?channel=CARS

    Verdict ?

Really like the 320 Coupe's as im not gone on the 3 Series saloons at all. (curretly have 2003 318)

I don't know about the price but it knocks the stuffing out of an A 4 daysul. And a lot better to sell down the road .

Well I reckon the price is cheap compared to some out there....which leads me to wonder is it a little TOO CHEAP. Or maybe I am just being a sceptical fooker!

Wonder if its an import, spec seems above average..

It's clocks are in km, so I'd say it's Irish.

I'd assume that's got the efficient dynamics nonsense

That's for fuel saving is it?? Im not sure the ins and outs of it.
Is it more hassle than its worth..

It says original Irish , and only 330 tax,

never heard of Karl Goodwin but he's a brave man with all them land rovers,

maybe it's a trade in to him or Stuart's or other land rover dealer

miles a bit high for a main dealer but wouldn't put me off ,

how much for a new one of these, ?
seems good value compared to a clk of similar vintage for a much more modern car

and one in uk would prob cost this much sterling before vrt, not many people with 20 k cash so maybe he kept it under 20 k to shift it , worth a look I'd say.

    2.9
More expensive in the long run and def want a 3/4 yr old car as plan on having it for 4 years.

Early 335i can suffer from rattley wastegates and in the word of a BMW mechanic it's "one hell of a job to sort", apparently just gaining access is a huge job.

Savage bus though but in fairness compared to the one Slattsy is wondering about there's a gulf in running costs.

You'll spend more on fixing it than you'll save on fuel I think

What do you think of the one's in looking at ?
Any common faults, issues that you've come across.

You were one of the lads that turned my head from the A4, so you better back that up :D

Not a clue to be honest Slattsy, Colm mentioned the ED potential issues, not an insignificant issue to be fair. I wonder are 4cyl versions effected as much though?

    .... it looks savage though.
