any idea how to get a calf to lose weight?

We've a calf booked into a weight class in a show, weighed her today and she's 3 kilo's over.I know its a small amount of weight but any way to make sure she loses a bit of weight to be safe.
Also, she's got white hari on her legs that seems to have been stained yellow from muck.Any idea how to get the colour back to white? I've washed and washed her but its not shifting it,its like the white hair has been dyed by the muck

Scour, pneumonia, timber tongue, meningitis, dipteroia, pink eye, lice, fluke, hoose, naval infection, blood poisoning, ringworm, bloat. Or maybe no grass and rain on its back.

Op you have probably weighed her with a full gut, try popping her in a trailer and taking her on a trip same distance as the show, bet you there'll be at least 3kg of sh1te on the floor.

Maybe try a bit of hot water with bleach, hope she don't go blonde:D

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Anti diuretic tablet from chemist (human) ... To rid herself of excess water in system but 3kg I wouldn't bother ... Restrict feed/ water and a good spin .., feed her after being weigh in !

    Ludicrous suggestion.

Anti-diuretic drugs even if licenced safe and available have precisely the opposite effect.

To make her white bits white use washing powder! I used surf to clean up horses tails. It literally does make them blue white and hasn't done them any harm and I've been doing it for years. Of course, make sure you rinse it all off well!
