    Sa comhthéacs:

    Botún coitianta sa Ghaeilge ná ‘leat’ mar atá sa sampla thuas a fhuaimniú a fhuaimniú ar nós you (emphatic) an Bhéarla i.e. leas a bhaint as béim an ghutha in áit an treisitheoir ‘sa’ a chur leis an fhocal ‘leat’.

    Uaireannta bíonn níos mó ná focal amháin leis an brí céanna. Tarlaíonn sé i mBéarla freisin, agus i dteangacha eile, is dócha.

    Sampla eile den dearmad céanna:

    Bhí an scannán sin CHOMH maith! - ón mBéarla:
    That film was SOOOO good.

    Seachas:
    Bhí an scannán sin chomh MAITH!

    Ba chóir an bhéim a bheith ar an aidiacht seachas ar an bhfocal "chomh".
