Students, new and old. Welcome to the Galway city forum. This forum is intended for discussions/questions about the city and services and similar things.

However it doesn't allow adverts for rooms/flats/house to be posted. For this you should use the dedicated forums for your school.
The forums are under the Edu category on the top of the page.
Even if you attend a school not present under the Edu category, have a look at the acc threads anyway as they will discuss where to live, rents, travel and many other things you may wonder about.

    NUIG, NUIG Accommodation
    GMIT, GMIT Accommodation

But as the main question for new students is "how do a I find a place?" BABM answered that in another thread:
You should check out the usual places like Daft.ie and since you're looking for NUIG, it might be checking out the Galway Advertiser Classified Section for accommodation to let in Newcastle, which is near there.
