Is the Dunkellin safe to kayak down in a 3 metre leisure kayak?

Hi, the Dunkellin river in Co. Galway is classed as a whitewater beginners river. Just wondering is it possible to navigate it safely in a larger kayak e.g. leisure kayaks circa 3 meter ( a Necky Sky sit-in AND a Feelfree Nomad sit-on-top). I have looked at the various whitewater sections and while they look fun, I just wonder whether leisure kayaks would safely get through or are they likely to come a cropper? Any feedback would be very welcome.
