    Hey,

I was thinking of doing either the Criminology or Applied Psychology course in Dun Laoghaire Senior College (SCD) as a mature student.

Has anyone completed either of the courses and have feed back?(tutors, course work, etc)

Very interested in the Psych course but would probably have to leave my employment as it is a day course. Any thoughts?

    Cheers.

    Hi Toby,
I am doing the Applied Psychology course in Senior College Dun Laoighre (SCD) in September! . Where do you plan on doing the Crimonology course?. I asked someone on Boards.ie what they thought of SCD's Applied Psychology course in the Psychology section and the person said that it was good and the teachers were really helpful. I think you should do this course if you want because it is a good stepping stone onto a Psychology degree, if that is what you want to do in the future. On the other hand, you have a job and if you give up that job it will be very hard to find another job in this recession. You could always look for an evening course if you want to keep your job .However that decision is up to do and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
    Thank you,
    Linda.

Can I ask what you plan to do with a L5 in criminology/psychology? Most courses at this level in an academic subject are link courses that provide access to universities. If that's your plan you could broaden your horizons and look at any courses in that area that will get you into the uni you want!
