Noise and more noise

    I am on the verge of cracking up...before I moved into flat I specifically asked LL about noise from upstairs was told the place is so well insulated you wont hear anything what a load of bull..I cant get good night sleep as being woken by king kong thumping around above me dont mind rest of place except when I am trying to sleep last night 1.30 am bang bang thump thump went on for ages....the LL lives above me what do I do??? They are inconsiderate and selfish at the best of times contract up in 3 mths but its only in last few mths noise has increased!!!!!????

    You hardly need this spelt out? Approach them about the noise and particularly the time of it.
    And start looking for a new apartment in about a months time

    Its pretty much part and parcel of living in an apartment- it doesn't matter whether its a timber or a concrete structure, no matter what anyone tells you- noise carries, and when you're surrounded by neighbours, you do end up living each other's lifes........
