    hi all,

I am in the middle of a new build and am fortunate that i have a brother working for philips lighting in london.

I should be able to get bulbs and fittings at a reduced cost and i am wonderig what people would reccomend.

I want to go for LED lighting and am wondering what are the major do's and don'ts .

I know its a pretty general question but any help would be greatly recieved

    thanks

you can get led floodlighting and cabinet lighting

i'm sure philips will do those

for the led spots- i would get mains fittings with fire-rating,acoustic,air tightness etc built-in

-they'll also need to be F-Capped(suitable for covering in insulation) for the attics

i'm sure philips will also have led spots with those specs
