Hi all ive been searching everywhere and i need your opinion on something, im also looking for parts in ireland, preferably midlands.

Ok so i want to lower my Glanza S. Whats the nicest looking mod without goin seriously expensive. Ive seen some with 40mm lowering all round on 15" alloys and it looks pretty nice, so im thinking how to go about lowering it?

Id like to get springs but all ive seen are Pi Springs on ebay. Coilovers are too expensive.

Also its a standard glanza S so i was looking for the front lip and the skirts if anyone is breaking a glanza and selling those parts id be very interested.

Edit: Id also love a set of clear headlights.

No offence mate but keep it Standard
No point in gettin all the glanza v parts to make it look like a V
Glanza v ain't that expensive to buy anyway but if ya want my advice( I've had glanza v) don't change it keep it original unless you want to be in the same category as the fake type R crowd or scooby wrx 1.6 club
And when you sell it you'd get more for keepin it original Anyway

Thanks for the reply mate. Yeah im not in a hurry on the v parts, id like to lower it first and see how that looks. Sayin that i love the look of the splitter on the v's.

The front splitter was an option on all glanzas, none had it as standard, skirts were also an option on the non turbo afaik, so you could happily fit both of these and not be going for a "turbo rep" job.

all glanzas also have the same headlights, so i asume you mean the clear indicators, as opposed to the orange lensed ones? these were standard on all 1998 and 99 glanzas.

the only real visual difference between the "S" and "V" is the bonnet scoop on the V where the S just has a bulge.

free plug for www.toyotaownersclub-irl.com lots of glanzas being broken on there and you'd definitely get what you want at competitive prices. you'd certainly pick up a set of lowering springs there too. 40mm on 15's is where the trend is at. i'm a bit lower and on 14's and its pretty uncomfortable, looks well though, 30 or 40mm is plenty.

Any glanzas I had I got rid of them horrible clear indicators and replaced them with the orange indicators that were found on standard starlets 96-99
And most would agree looks a lot better
I'm tellin ya man keep it standard you'll get more when selling it if ya ever do

Thanks Andy. Another question. What should i look out for when buying a glanza s. If i was to pick up another one is there anything major/minor to check?

the cars themselves are pretty reliable, the main thing now is just to find one that hasn't had the stones driven out of it. given the amount of time those cars have been around now its usually clear at a glance which ones are well kept and which are clapped out. also, do a motorcheck and check for an EP91 not 90 chassis code to make sure your not buying an irish starlet thats been tarted up.

Its an EP91 :) Never even thought to check that. Should i use springs or coilovers?. I know coilovers are adjustable and stuff but id be happy with 40mm set i think.
