Hi all Can anyone tell me how long you have to wait for currency if you order it in the bank.I need to get barbadian dollars and wondered where would be the best place to order them and does the cost vary in different banks. Would I get a better exchange rate in Barbados? Thanks for your help!

Some curriencies are 'closed' and are only available in that specific country, and unchangable / not available outside of there. But if that currency is available, you shouldn't really have to wait longer than one week [ order day - delivery day, depending on the specific bank ].

Maybe best to use US dollars and exchange for local dollars if needed when you are there. Thats what i did in St Lucia a few years ago so i'd imagine it would be the same. Everything was paid mainly in US dollars.
