'Phone locked return for service' Tried to unlock my phone...

    Hello:(
I tried to unlock my Samsung Ch@t 335 so that I could change network. I contacted Meteor and got my unlock code. And then I entered in that weird number thing to get to the unlock screen (the one with the asterisks and hashes in it) and I did this a few times. And now it says 'Phone locked return for service' when I have any simcard in it. With no simcard the phone works. What do I do? I really don't want to have to bring it somewhere, can I download something or put in more codes or do anything to try and fix it myself?
    Thanks

Get back onto meteor and tell them they gave you the wrong code.

If the OP has entered the wrong code too many times they'll still have to send it back for it to be manually unlocked.

Should pop into a Meteor store and they should arrange for it to be sent off for you.

Typical meteor giving him the wrong code. Some how when In bought a new a sim of them they blocked the old one and the new one no one in the shop had a clue what was wrong.

Thanks for all the advice. Brought it into meteor today and they've sent it off to unlock it for me.
They said they will unlock something but not unlock the network or something stupid. I will have to do that myself with the unlock code. I will stand beside them and use whatever code they give me, I'm not going to leave the shop until it is unlocked!

Glad to see there sorting it out.
