Yeah was wondering why the new signature hadn't been mentioned yet. The old one was so dramatic sounding. How long did they have that one for?

I'd say the reason why they changed it was because the problems they had taking people out when they were released/future endeavoured/showed up on tna and it was probably hard enough to add in new stars catchphrases.

Like could you imagine them trying to add in "FELLA?!" Or the yes chant?

It wouldn't be hard for the amazing video editing crew at WWE to splice in new catchphrases as they come in. This new WWE intro video is unbelievably soft and lame. It's like a stock corporate video. There's ABSOLUTELY no emotion or edge to it, a killer in the bloody entertainment industry.

My favourite intro was the 97 one (shocker) where they used the Sky Sports promo guy. Loved his voice. Plus you knew when a PPV was on, the intro package would actually be a nice story tying in the themes that brought us here tonight. Not just a random assortment of promos and recaps. WWF put a lot of thought into these in the late 90s.

They had the reel one since 2005 (Raw Homecoming on USA to be exact). Originally with the tagline "The Power is back".

You'd believe every word of that. Given his (in my opinion) crap heel run in 2001 it's easy to forget just how good Stone Cold was being an out and out heel, surely one of the best ever.

Definitely. He was far too amazing - absolutely killer promos, there's no way he could remain as a heel. With someone that talented, the fans will sooner or later gravitate towards tremendous entertainment. He is so believable, an excellent fresh character. When I saw him when I started watching WWF again in late 96, this guy was the stand-out character.

Ever since they took out JR saying "The entire world is watching" and swapped it for Cena saying "The champ is here", it should have been changed.

Yeah there's something that makes me feel.....not at home when I hear Cena's voice instead of Jim's. Anyway, it's gone now, and it resembles Microsoft or something instead I think.
