Belfast International Airport Drop Off Zone

    Just found out the hard way. There is no free drop off areas for departures at Belfast International Airport. They charge £1 to exit. Problem was as a Southerner dropping off family, doing a round trip, I came without sterling. Luckily met someone who exchanged money.

    So if going there from the 26 counties, get a coin in advance.

    I'm returning on Monday to pick up the family, and have my coin sorted.

    Its the same in Luton Airport outside London and I think you are only allowed 10 -15mins.
