Silvercrest 2239 LCD TV with no remote

Got this on my desk with no power coming on, so one fuse, one filter capacitor and four diodes later I have a nice little screen for myself.... But apparently no way of tuning it without a remote.. There are six buttons at the back of the TV.. ON, TV/AV, Channel up, Channel down, Volume up, Volume down...

Is there any way around this? (aside from acquiring another remote of course).

Do you know what kind of tuner it has? Will it decode the Saorview signal or can you receive UK Freeview?

Not much point in going to any trouble for a couple of months worth of analogue broadcasts, or maybe you have a cable tv feed?

Hi Peter, would you believe I dont actually know if there is a digital tuner on it.. I want to get the tuner scanning to see what it picks up.. It landed on my desk with no instructions, no box, no remote (and no power :) ). I've been googling all around to find out about it... on the Silvercrest site, with the Lidl article number, google by model number.

Seems to be digital and possibly analogue also from what little I understood of the pages I tried to read.

Apparently sold in Germany, Spain and France amongst others.

Also seems to be plenty replacement remotes out there.
