Honda Civic - Steering is stiff

    Hi all,

I got myself a nice 2005 Honda Civic 1.4S about 1 month ago and generally I'm happy with it.

But it has one problem which is pretty frustrating - steering the car away from the straight centre point is difficult, it feels stiff in and around this area ONLY; so for example, when you're turning the wheel gently on a motorway (where the cambers are minimal and the wheel doesn't need much movement) getting the initial shove to the left or right is difficult and holding it in that position is tiring and becomes kind of painful.

Anything beyond the centre point moves nicely and in fact the rest of the steering is quite good.

    Anybody else experienced this?

This uses EPS and the torque sensor could need a reset.
