What program(s) are running?

I notice that when I start up my pc, there seems to be a load of stuff working/opening in the background, which causes the machine to take a little longer to boot up. Also, when it does boot up, there still seems to be stuff loading up as I can hear the noise from the machine itself. Any way I can find out what programs…

I used use this, very decent

Now I just use Ccleaner as it does so much more, but it doesn't google startup items though like Startup Inspector

Start menu type in msconfig

then 3rd or 4th in tab shows your start up tasks..

CCleaner is very good as well I find
