looks more like a driver issue
    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f)
A driver is causing an inconsistent power state.
    Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000004, The power transition timed out waiting to synchronize with the Pnp
    subsystem.
    Arg2: 0000000000000258, Timeout in seconds.

you could post your problem here : http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/ and upload your minidumps, someone there will debug them for you which will help isolate the driver, don't have a debugger installed here myself atm. either that or perform a clean boot until you can figure out whats causing the problem. if you have AvG antivirus installed get rid of it.

    all the best..

Follow the steps in the sticky thread about running DDS, it will tell us more than the minidump.

AVG is not what it used to be.. its bloated and causes many people problems.
