Recordings on my SD card

    Hi all,

    I have a problem with my SD card. I have a load of photos and a view short recordings on it from a trip abroad. I've been able to upload the photos onto my laptop but the recordings don't come up on the screen. I put the card back in the camera and the recordings are there. Ive tried other laptops and the photos appear but none of the recordings.

    What am I doing wrong?!

    Is it an Explorer window on the laptop they don't show up in? Or some other piece of software, if the latter, could it just be showing only files of a particular type?

    Have you been successful in the past with the same software and method?
    Can you connect the camera to the pc directly, with card in camera, by USB ?

    Thanks for replying and sorry for taking so long to reply.

    I've been able to upload recordings before. This time around it only shows the images on Explorer Window. I've put the SD card directly into the laptop and it's just the images come up, no recordings. I've tried every way to connect the camera to the laptop and other devices but no luck.
