I am on the 2pm bus from Busáras to Belfast and all the way to the airport the guy sitting opposite me was playing with himself, rubbing himself through his jeans and was clearly aroused.

I brought his behaviour to attention of the driver at the airport stop but he just directed me out to the inspector who boarded the bus went down the back and then told me he wasn't doing it now so there was nothing he could do.

I showed the inspector the video I had taken which clearly showed inappropriate and offensive behaviour but he said he was just rubbing his leg!!

Any other country and this pervert would have been removed from the bus and handed over to the police but here in Ireland he might get a few months when he progresses to raping someone!

I would not like anyone I know to be subjected to such a display especially in te middle of the day on a fairly busy bus. As far as I know he did not know I was recording him and appeared to be watching a woman sitting in front of me as he masturbated.

Was he from NI or ROI? Either way you should go to the Gardai/Police about this and tell them you made a complaint to the Bus provider. At least then you'll you have done everything you can so your conscience is clear.

Ok serious reply yes maybe rubbing one out on the bus is on the perverted side, and not something id like to see, but to say he will progress to assualting someone is ridicilous really.

Interestingly, I was talking to someone recently who's brother is a Garda who was working at the Swedish House Mafia gig, and he (the Garda) was lamenting the fact that he could not stop people having sex in front of everyone in the park because technically they were not committing a crime.
