I finished college last may and have been trying to find a job since. As of now I am not receiving any benefits. I have spotted an internship I would like to do but the guidelines say I must be receiving benefits for at least three months. Is this three month period strict? or if I was to sign on now could I be eligible to apply for the internship?

Sign on straight away and apply to have it backdated.

Sign on now. Mine was backdated for the 4 months between end of job and signing on, and I am elegible for jobbridge- I asked. I'm not sure they'd backdate that far, but they probably would enough that you would be able to do an internship.
