Classic FM Hall of Fame and another story that's not quite as good

So I was reading the first ever interactive edition of EDGE on my iPad this morning (which for an interactive mag experience is rather good) and happened upon a review for a Final Fantasy music game on the 3DS. If memory serves correct EDGE gave it 6 out of 10.

Anyway, the review mentioned that Final Fantasy made it to the Classic FM Top 300 Hall of Fame. For those wondering, it's listing is here:

Looking through the 300 entries there's a good few games that made the grade. It got me thinking what classical video game pieces, if any, you like listening to?

Hitoshi Sakimoto in his early days did some amazing soundtracks. His Vagrant Story soundtrack is wonderful and the samples he uses emulate the sound of an orchestra really well.

Aerith's theme is good but it's far from the series best piece of music. Dancing Mad, the final boss music from FF6 is way better. I heard it played by an orchestra with the massive pipe organ they have in the Royal Albert Hall last year and it was breathtaking.

I heard nothing but praise for the FF rhythm game and it's made by the guys behind the Game Centre CX game. Perhaps it's another of EDGE's bananas scores?

Most arrangements of dancing mad require electric guitars so doubt if it would qualify for a list like this.
