    Yes you can use a spare feed from the dish , you might also ask your installer if he can source the box for you ,that way the whole installation is warrantied by him.

    Try http://www.isaa.tv/features.php?county=meath for a ISSA registered installer that covers the Meath area if your guy doesn't pan out

    The proviso being, be sure you're not charged a silly premium for the box - which you can readily source independently elsewhere.

    Not to everyone though - significant price anomalies being all too apparent in respect of Freesat branded HD & PVR boxes..
