    Hi all,
What do you think of Turkish Airlines. looking to fly Dublin to Capetown and they are €250 cheaper than BA and SAA (who I have flown with before).
Is BA/SAA worth the extra €250 over Turkish Airlines or is there not much of a difference beside the one I say below.

Also in the itinerary they say the flight from Istanbul to Cape Town includes 1 "technical stop". What does that mean, does that mean they need to land for fuel? Can we find out where they land for this technical stop?

    Thanks,
    Adam

Looks like a stop off in Jo'Burg to throw a few punters out!!

Nothing wrong with Turkish, just check that there'll be IFE on the IST->CPT leg as they don't always have it.

I use TK for my Star Alliance FFP even though I've not had need to use them in ages, going on the communications for that, don't expect easily readable English on much they write.

Not so much a comment about THY ( Turkish Airlines ).

Just be aware that Istanbul airport is a kip , and VERY VERY VERY VERY expensive , a total rip off , so try not to buy anything there , not even a bottle of water.

Indeed, it stops at JNB before continuing on to Cape Town
