    MOD NOTE

    Continued from for sale thread.

    ===========================================================================================================

I got a bitch from Pat at the start of the year, she has turned out great.
Swims like a fish, I am looking forward to this winter and getting her out after some ducks.
Great nature with the Kids as well.

Here's the pics as promised :).
Don't have any pics of the sire yet but I'll have them next week . Had a look through the bitches pedigree there and she has a good few ftch's on it including Ulstare oak .
The pups will be ready to go in two weeks and are all healthy , vaccinated and wormed and eating nuts .
They can be seen at my kennell's anytime and are a bargain for the money .
Once again these are going to shooting homes only . Haven't put them on donedeal yet cos I'll have too many clowns ringing me about them and I'd like to be sure they're going to be worked and I might see the odd pic on here of them afterwards:) .
Pm me for any more details

Hi pat just a quick question , just wondering why with ulstare oak in the bitches back breeding you choose to breed with a non registered dog , and would you consider in the future breeding with a registered dog with quality breeding . Ulstare oak is a very sought after line .

    Regards Paul

Ps wouldn mine seeing few pic of the bitch she looks smashing ! Nice pups too

    Hi Paul .
Thanks for the compliment on the bitch and pups . I'll pass it on to them :D

In a short answer , I bred my bitch with the best lab I've ever seen !
I've seen some outstanding dogs and shot over some great ones but this lad took the biscuit ! He actually belongs to a former world champion clay shooter who gives him plenty of retrieving and is more than able for the task !! One evening we shot 48 duck over a near frozen lake and he retrieved every one of them to our feet . He's a machine !
Anyway , I don't breed anything for trialling as I'm not a big fan after seeing some of the treatment the dogs get . I'm more interested in breeding good solid gundogs that will more than do the job for any shooting man and be given a good home along with it .
It's also my opinion that a dog won't work any better or worse if it's registered so to me it's just an added expense . I only bought the bitch beacause I liked the look of her and seen a brother of her's working and was Impressed . I didn't even know she had papers !
It turns out the Sire of the pups has Ulstare oak in his breeding too but his owner never bothered registering him .
So thats where I stand on it . I'm not knocking trialling men here by the way , It's just my own opinion .

Cheers for the reply if ulstar oak is on both sides than you have very well breed pups . Registered or not , not sure what you experience is with trailing but I've been involved for years now and dogs were kept in top conditions and treated well by most.

Like every organisation , there is a few clowns among guinine people .

Best of luck with the sale of you pups .
