Fiat seicento all hazzard/indicator lights

Hi just wondering if anyone has any ideas about this. Just noticed on our 99 fiat seicento all of the hazzard/indicator lights were constantly on (not flashing) when the car was turned off. The light switch was on but when car is turned off the lights automatically turn off normally the same as my fiat punto. The car had not been driven for two days as we have a second car and were using this for the past two days. We only noticed the problem because we went to start the car and this has drained the battery. As my other half was rushing to work he disconnected the battery and will give it a charge overnight. Just wondering if anyone may have seen a problem like this before and would have any idea what the problem would be and possibly how much we would be looking at to fix it. Thanks :)

Possibly the hazard light switch which allows the indicators and hazards to flash. Some cars it's the hazard button itself you replace and this contains the switch, others may have a seperate unit behind the under steering wheel or behind dash.
