Are you near a council recycling centre ?

Eg. Ballymount in Dublin accepts them for free.

    Link
In addition to the above items, the Recycling Centre accepts a list of items free of charge including:

    Electrical appliances
    Computer Equipment
White Goods (Fridges, Washing Machines, etc)
Waste Car Oil (Not cooking oil)

    Just dump it.

I find the line 'its not you, its me' works.

Or 'Its just not working out'

Its a cooker OP, it shouldnt have feelings.

Ask in your local forum OP, there is probably a recycling plant nearby that accepts old white goods.
