    I have a 12 year old daughter, I have never missed paying my maintenance and in fact it used to be higher, I have been for the last 3- 4 years been paying 70 Euro a week to the mother ( we seperated after she was born ) now however due to circumstances in work I'm down now 80 Euro and what with the current climate I'm STRUGGLING big time, I approached the mother and asked could we reduce it to 50 Euro and she didnt seem to impressed even mentioning court!!??? HELP please???

    Contact your local FLAC centre. The fact that you've engaged with the Mother positively is a good thing.

    The mother can apply to court and you need to get some advice from someone. Not here though.

    Technically not, but we can't give advice here. That's what you need. Please make an appointment to see FLAC or if you can, try and have a local solicitor assist you.

    If you can't afford to pay it you can't afford to pay it, a judge will tell you and her that. See a solicitor or else make an appointment with your local family law FLAC.
