Go to court so, if she's not agreeable to dropping the amount, the judge could go in your favour if you genuinely are struggling. Consult a solicitor or the Free Legal Advice Centre.

Go to court but be prepared that you will have to show that you have tried to reduce all other expenditure before you needed to reduce maintenance. Has the Amt you paid not increased over time in d 3 to 4 years in line with the increase in cost of living?

The judge would expect you to show that your spending is all necessary and reducing maintenance is a last resort!
