    Hi Guy's,

I need to get my hands on a passenger side front window for a 2006 Subaru Forester if anyone can help.... None of the glass places have one & Subaru Ireland have quoted 15 days to get one... & that is a long time to have no glass in the car & as the door is frameless it's hard to secure it now too

PM me if you can help

    Thanks

I take it you've tried Autoglass? I'm just off the phone to a friend of mine who had his Forester broken into a couple of weeks back and had the glass replaced by Autoglass through AXA. His was a 99 though, so presumably the glass is different.

Yeah I've been thru a few glass places now including auto glass.. & Subaru Ireland & breakers yards.... Best answer yet was 10 to 15 days to get the glass in

www.partfinder.ie shows up a number of 1997-2001 model Foresters in scrap yards. Did the 2006 model change much over the earlier model? Might be worth a shot.

Sadly I'm told that 2006 had two models & the one I'm after is the later of the two so the early stuff won't fit & I'm also told that it was a short lived update into 2007 so its the rarest of them... Hence the shortage of bits in country

Your car (the facelift SG) was actually built from 2005-2007 - given Subaru's habit of keeping cars lying around for a while, anything registered between 05 and 08 may also be the facelift, although some 05s and 06s won't. Have you tried the UK/Europe section here? http://www.subaruforester.org/
