    Glenville is Blanchardstown.

It was built in the 70s and was Blanchardstown since then. Some newer builds near Bradys for example are passed off as Castleknock but they in my opinion only would be Blanchardstown.

Not to upset people either who want more value on their property, Roselawn road is also Blanchardstown :)

They are always playing with fire, but in fairness who do you trust?

    For example: http://www.globrix.ie/property-details/15878496-glenville_drive-blanchardstown-dublin_15-3_bed-semi_detached_house

Glenville is in Blanchardstown as chucknorris opined. So is Roselawn, Delwood, Woodpark and Brompton, no matter what estate agents or people who live in these areas will tell you.

IMO the Royal canal and railway line separates Blanchardstown from Castleknock. I remember a few years ago seeing an advert on Daft for a house to rent in Edgewood Lawns that decribed it as located in Castleknock!

If estate agents had their way all of Dublin 15 would be Castleknock.

What is the issue with having your address as Blanchardstown, Ashtown or Carpenterstown? What is so frikkin special about Castleknock?

If anyone wants to push it then all of D15 is in the Castleknock ward as per the book The Candle in the window. I dont live in Castleknock yet im in the Castleknock election ward. It gets confusing when im classed as living in Clonsilla and Blanch depending on the council or the postman :).

We were all in the Barony of Castleknock, including Corduff. :D

But we are no longer in the parish of Castleknock of course.

    Blanchie and proud. ;)
