What would be a nice course to play within an hours drive of Dundalk that wouldn't cost a fortune. North or south doesn't matter, just looking to play somewhere new that I haven't played before.

    Ardglass, Concra Woods, Baltray.

Haven't played it before, but I believe Concra Wood is a fantastic course, and only about 40 mins from Dundalk.

Concra Wood, Headfort New, Portmarnock Links, Seapoint, Knightsbrook, Roganstown.

Actually there's about a hundred options.

Head north for Lisburn, Malone, Warrenpoint, Kilkeel, RCD if you've the money.

    Couldn't recommend Headfort strongly enough.

For value (about 30 yo yos) and distance (about 20 minutes) Concra Wood is the job. Head another 10 minutes down the same road for Nuremore. Great spot too. Seapoint is an option, host of Irish PGA for a few years.
