Not sure if this is the right place. If it isn't sorry mods. feel free to move.

Grandad got a blood glucose tolerance test. It was the one where he got it tested and then is asked to drink a bottle of lucozade and get tested again in an hours time

He got results back and he was way over the limit. he is naturaly worried. However we just realised that he drank the lucozade over the whole hour. what i mean is that he only drank the last of it a few mins before going in to get it rechecked.
From what little i know the test is to see how well you body can get rid of the sugers or something and that the lucozade should be drank in about 5 mins and have the test redone an hour after that.

Would this significantly alter the results or is that just wishfull thinking?

    thanks in advance
