zipper problem

Hi there I am looking for a little help here. The childs wetsuit has a zipper stuck with dried in salt I have tried to soak it out and also tried wd40 none of which seems to work would anyone have any idea of what I could use to dislodge or disolve the salt

Have you tried hot water?
Salt can be stubborn stuff to shift but hot water usually dissolves it pretty fast.

Tried that thanks. Also had it soaking for a week in a bath to no avail

Try viniger. Might work.

Vinegar and an old toothbrush should do it. Just make sure to rinse off the vinegar afterwards

Vinegar is the best to dissolve salt crystals, either soak for a day or two, or scrub, soaking would be best

Midnight Oil

citric acid from your local chemist would be even better. Dissolve some in warm water and allow it to soak in.
