    Hey peeps :)

    Selling my trusty steed and first racing bike, and thought I would put it up here before on adverts.ie or the like. It was bought Christmas 2007 and is a 2007 model Felt Z series (more relaxed geometry) bike. Its seen very heavy use; training in all weathers, travelling/ light touring, commuting in emergencies, lots of racing and of course some crashes

    Its a lovely bike but Im selling it to facilitate a new purchase as it is no longer needed (shudder).

    So heres the specifications; its gone through endless iterations since it was new but this is what it currently has;

    Frame + forks;
    -56cm Felt Z65 Aluminium frame with carbon seatstays; a fair few chips on the paintwork (top tube, downtube) but as its aluminium, no rust
    -Felt 1.3HM 1 1/8th fork with carbon steerer; cut short to fit just one spacer above stem

    Components;
    -stem; unbranded 120mm -17deg stem 25.6mm clamp
    -handlebars; 25.6mm handlebars with classic bend; havnt measured it but its a deep bend; comfortable but an all out sprint can get a little flex if you really try
    -seatpost; Deda elementi 27.2mm seatpost; bought new Jan 2012
    -saddle; fizik arione k:ium black with suede-ish cover
    -two cheapo bottle cages

    Groupset;
    -STIs; ultegra 6600; plenty of wear and crashes but work perfectly
    -Front Derailleur; ultegra 6600; the low limit adjuster screw is buggered.. but shifts are perfect
    -RD; ultegra 6600; about 3 years old; works perfect
    -Crankset; FSA gossamer 53/39 172.5mm
    -Cassette; 12-25 shimano; will check but its old and worn; training only
    -Chain; Wippermann connex chain; ~2 years old and due replacement but still useable
    -Brakes; shimano R700; release levers no longer work but otherwise no problems

    Wheels;
    -cheapo training wheels
    -front;
    -unnamed rim, quando hub
    -vittoria tyre; bought March 2012; less than 300kms use
    -rear;
    -alex rims wheel
    -vittoria tyre; about a year old, <1500kms use
    -crud roadracer MK2 mudguards bought March 2012

    No pedals but Im sure you will want to provide your own anyways.
    Bike is in Dublin, no real option of travelling much and Im not in Dublin right now but can arrange to meet interested buyer.

    Basically this is a good frame with plenty of years left in it with a load of old components hanging off it; STIs, cranks, rear derailleur, mudguards are all funtionally perfect if aesthetically not so; worst bit is the brakes release levers not working and the wheels are sh..t to be fair; cassette and chain could do with replacing but who knows what the buyer might want to do with it so I'm selling it as is.

    Ill also throw in a racing wheel which is about 3-4 years old and has seen about 5-6000kms;
    -Dalkiia six-zero 60mm carbon rim with alloy brake track, hub bearings replaced about 1 year ago, comes with skewer and rim tape and would throw in an 80mm valve tube; no tyre included
    -comes with ultegra 6600 12-23 cassette; less than 1500kms

    Looking for 875e for the lot

    I don't know whether it's appropriate to comment but your price is way over the top for a 5 year old bike that (by your own admission) is in need of a lot of new parts and TLC! You may have better luck on Adverts but I would be surprised!

    I guess you're right, I am open to offers so I suppose I should have put that in the original post.

    edit; Ok it seems you cant edit the original post (?)

    If anyone wants to make an offer leave a post here, drop a PM or anything : )
