    i am thinking of buying mercredes clk200 coupe year 2000,my question is it a belt or chain and how often does it need to be changed

    It's a chain and they don't give trouble on the older W208 CLK, unlike the newer model.

    Is it km or miles ?

    I have a car with around 145000 miles on it and tbh if they are propertly looked after then its not too much as she drives like a dream.

    But it depends on the car also.
