    I used www.diywedding.ie

They sell various designs in packs or you can do it all from scratch and design it yourself. Found them to be reasonable and delivery was always fast. Try to plan everything you need though, I think I made 3 separate orders when I forgot various bits :o

    We used www.cardsandpockets.com

It's an American website that sells DIY stuff but they'll also put them together for you. It ended up being way cheaper for us to get them made by them than it would have cost to get them in Ireland. We didn't get caught for customs. If you contact them they'll talk you through the ordering process.

We ordered from the US also, can't remember the name of the site but no customs issues at all.

We out an email address 'IamPie'and'MrsIamPie@Gmail.com and our home address for RSVPs, worked out well...90% of responses were via email.

card prices in Ireland are genuinely comical. Thank gawd for the internet !

we (rather I ) designed by own invites, thank yous etc. my self and printed them at home on a desktop printer.

the cards and envelopes cost 10.50e for 100 and a couple of euros for the embellishments.

They werent the standard looking invites, as i wanted something different but if you have an idea of what you want, you could try designing them yourself

We were going to go with the DIY-ish idea, would be really lovely I think, but I'm writing a thesis up until 6 weeks before the wedding and just wouldn't have had the time.

So, we ordered cheapies but pretties from amazon.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Luxury-Silver-Wedding-Evening-Invitations/dp/B003SNWJGE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1343823308&sr=8-5

Got 70 invitations, 20 evening invites and I think 90 thank you's all matching (And allowed for plenty of overage, we're not going to use them all), for about €85. A few silver pens to prettify the writing and we're sorted :D

I love pretty invitations and would have loved to put a bit more effort in, but honestly, they're going to more than likely be shoved in a drawer for 6 weeks and then binned after the wedding, so I definitely couldn't justify spending a fortune.

We went down the DIY route and it's amazed me how much it's cost:

Paper, Card, Pritt Stick and PVA Glue - €40.78 (from Easons & Mr Price in Blanchardstown)
    Embellishments - €44.28 (from eBay)
Envelopes - €4.85 (plain white DL size which we're embellishing and addressing with the printer in my office)

So about €90 before you even account for postage, we'd have probably gotten them done professionally as cheap! My other half had a very specific idea of what she wanted them to look like though and we got enough materials to make our own table numbers in keeping with the design.

    +1.

Our friends designed a pretty cover picture for their invitation and made the format real simple. No hassle and no assembly required, very cheap.
Once you're looking at stuff having embellishments of any sorts the price will go up.

We got our from vistaprint, everything for less than €150. They are really nice, especially for the cost

I very much doubt you'd get them made for 90 euro anywhere! Invitations are ridiculously expensive. We got ours very reasonably priced from a UK website www.loveandcherish.co.uk - everybody is going on about how nice they are as well

    Hi
We bought a template from etsy.com and then are using Reids on Nassau street to print them out.

I have also bought my earrings, wedding band, a few other items from etsy.com

    www.zazzle.co.uk

I got mine on this site, very reasonable and you can personalise their templates to make them look really unique. You'd want to have a bit of a clue how to use Photoshop or similar is the only thing. Delighted with how ours turned out and we're getting loads of compliments on them.
