repairing damaged chrome

    i have a set of chrome alloys. some parts of the chrome are damaged and it look likes there bird crap on them!!. anyone know how to solve or would i have to get them re-chromed and if so anywhere in ireland do it? thanks

    Are they laquered?

    If so Nitromors to remove the laquer,

    400/800/100/1500/2000 grit sandpaper (Don't buy cheap stuff) and Meguires metal polish. Will take about 4 hours per wheel to do it properly.
