I was curious when Done deal was mentioned by Dodderangle, so googled it and yep there are Ferrets for sale.

This was quoted on one "3 ferrets for sale , two girl silvers and one albino very good workers ma and da hunt very well brang them out a few times very good for the age"

Thought DD were opposed to all hunting sales?

While on the subjects of ferrets
this has been pindering my mind the past feew weeks.how many of the boards ferreters use the ferret finder collars?and if anyone has tried with and without the collars did you have more digs in either case?

I always use them and would never ever go out without it
It's irresponsible to go out with them as your ferret could kill 4 or 5 young rabbits and if you only get one then you've killed and left the other rabbits there
I had a ferret that always killed and he killed 6 youngish rabbits in one burrow and if it wasn't for the finder I would've never gotten them or the ferret
Also a ferret can get too cosy underground and sleep and you'd be waitin a while to get him back if you've no finder
Also another thing is that if you don't see the ferret leave the hole he could wander around the land then you've lost him and he gets into farmland with poultry and costs farmer a fortune

Sorry for the rant just had arguments with some people in the past

In sayin that tho some lads trust their ferret will never kill and only bolt therefore will get their ferret back with out fail
