I am planning on staying for a week in Berlin at the end of August. I am finidng it difficult to decide what hostel to stay in and I was hoping somebody could help.

I will be travelling alone so I hope to be in a hostel with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of young travellers hopefully in a similar situation. A central location or easy access to public transport is pretty important. A place with bar would be nice too!

I'd appreciate any recommendations you have for places to stay (or to avoid!)
