    Hi I have a saorview box and the Irish channels have disappeared , does anyone know what on earth has happened and how I can possibly get them back? Thanks

    Difficult to say without knowing your setup, location, aerial, distribution or masthead amp etc?

    Is the aerial still connected to the Saorview receiver?

    Sorry you have lost me,

    It is digital and rte stopped being terrestrial I think , therefore I can't watch it

    I'm afraid you've lost me too.

    Saorview is digital terrestrial television (DTT) with an aerial, the terrestrial replacement for the old analogue terrestrial signal which gets switched off on Oct 24th.

    What is your Saorview receiver connected to, an indoor or outdoor aerial? Try a full reset or scan of the Saorview receiver for the Saorview channels.
