I'll probably get my hand slapped for this question but here goes, how do you use this sauce? Do you use just douse your chicken or whatever in it then cook or do you use the whole bottle like a stewing sauce??

i use it like ketchup and dipping sauce and a marinade for bbq, but here is some good ideas from the company that make the stuff

you can do something as simple as heat in a microwave with a bowl if ya want and dip the chicken in, but if youre getting in a restaraunt, most hot sauce is heated in a pot with a load of butter.

Do your wings, secret is to steam for 30 minutes (or boil). leave to cool (important), now theyre all cooked and plump so now all you gotta do is deep fry for 3-4 minutes to get crispy. Can cover in spicey flour if ya want before deep frying. Then into big bowl, pour in hot sauce and butter sauce and oee-er, toss.

Nandos sauce is more of a marinade than what your describing here, this would work better with franks hot sauce

give this recipe a go. much nicer than any of the nando's sauces imho.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/piripirichicken_72310

the only thing i do differently is to roast the garlic in the oven with the chilli's and i use more chilli's, usually from those mixed chilli packs in the supermarket, or fresh from a farmers market if i can.

also, make sure you use good quality dried oregano, it makes all the difference and make it the day before you want to use it, do give the flavours some time to develop.

just baste your chicken with it every 20 minutes or so as it's cooking, ideally on a bbq. :)
