Is Vat payable on a commercial property purchase?
Hi
I am in the process of buying a small office commercial unit which was first developed in 2000. I am wondering what are the rules for VAT on the purchase price.

Will I have to pay vat or not?

The business I will be using in the premises will be VAT exempt.

Property related questions are not allowed as there are so many possibilities. You need to ask the auctioneer about that specific property.
