Would you consider one of the foldable cages ?
I have one that is "fitted" in the back of the car and i can't recommend it highly enough.
It is very light, can be romoved/fitted in about 30 seconds and is big enough for 2 big dogs(Vizsla & Retriever)
They are about €60 t0 €100 on Ebay( check "dog cage" or "car cage")
Not trying to sell my one, just making a suggestion

I had 2 and the terrier pulled it to bits, bent the doors on both and now it doesnt line up any more.Cable ties are keeping it from collapsing now.He gets a ''little'' excitable when first in the van.Im trying to find something more robust for the little ****e.thanks for the replys
