Bryan Magee is widely known as one of the most eminent commentators on Western philosophy having been responsible for bringing the subject to public attention through various BBC broadcasts such as 'The Great Philosophers' and 'Men Of Ideas'. Magee was interviewed by Andy O'Mahony in 1999 about many of the issues raised in Magee's "philosophical autobiography", Confessions of a Philosopher.

Could you give some form of a synopsis or a description of their discussion, please, Leopardi? It would be nice for people to know what it is that they're about to listen to; also, an hour or so of discussion, without knowing what it's about, might seem unappealing to some users. Thank you.
