Advice On Replacement Handlebar, Rim & Chain

It seems the shoulder ligament breaking, bike damaging, pain inducing crash I had at Ticknock back in February has damaged even more than I thought. Not a great first time MTB'ing I'll have to say. Just my luck to be in a crash that in hospital bills and replacement parts costs more than my Lapierre does :(

It seems my handlebar is bent and is causing fatigue in my right hand on 2hr+ spins, so I'll need to replace it. My rim also has a nice dent in it along with some cracking around some of the nipples. I also am going to need a new chain as the shifting is sporadic at times.

For the handlebar I'm thinking the FSA XC-300. It's 25.4x620mm just like the bar it's replacing. I'm also looking at the Funn Combat II grips because it's easier than taking the old ones off.

For the rim I'm looking at the Mavic XM119. It's replacing a Mach 1 EXE rim that according to the internet doesn't seem to exist. Couldn't find any information on it other than it's 19x599 and 32h.

The bike shop also told me 6 months ago that I'll need a new chain soon and as I mentioned the shifting is a bit iffy at times even after adjusting everything. Running a Shimano HG30 9S 11x32 with 44x32x22 crankset. Not sure if this is the right chain to look at?

Unless the new rim is exactly the same dimensions as the one you're replacing, you'll need new spokes and maybe nipples. Some wheelbuilders will replace these as a matter of course.

It might not be worth it for the sake of re-using a hub.

Sorry, my heads melted today. Are you saying it's not worth buying the rim to use with the current hub?

I'm saying that you should work out the cost of doing so (including the rebuild) before buying the rim.
