Lobster/Shrimp/Trawling nets: Law

    (1) Whats the max amount of lobster pots an unlicensed fisherman can put down?

    (2) Is it legal to put shrimp pots down?

    (3) Is it legal to fish trawling with a net from a boat?

    I heard there was a limit of 4 lobster pots per person, but then i also heard personal consumption was the rule... prob should ask a fishing Bailiff.

    I am intrigued to know the legal position without drudging through the laws myself when i should be studying for fe1 exams!

    (1) 4 pots your allowed
    (2) 4 pots for your own consumption unless you buy a polvalent licence to sell commercial
    (3)its illegal to fish any net without a license
    (
