How easy or hard would it be to swap out a siezed yaris engine for a good working engine?

Is it a job for an average diy person or is it best left to a mechanic.

And how much would a mechanic charge to change engines?

    Thanks.:)

It really depends on your level of DIY ability. The Yaris engine is reasonably basic so, as engine changes go, would be handy enough.

I think if you have to ask that question then you are not the man for the job.
