    Hey,
My friend is getting married in Krakow in September 2013. Does anyone know how much a suit hire would be? Realistically he'll have to hire the suit for 5/6 days. Would 'Black Tie' be the best option?

He's considering getting irish kilts for the wedding party.

Again, does anyone have prices for these?

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    Mick

    Are you in Dublin?

Not sure if we're allowed mention specific shops on here so mods may wish to edit, but I got hitched in Spain last year and went to Aston menswear; we kept the suits for two weeks at no extra charge, I think it worked out about €120 per suit (long jacket, pants, waistcoat, shirt), the guys were all very helpful in there.

I have no info on kilts or on 'Blacktie', sorry.

Wouldn't be a fan of Blacktie myself and have read negative reports on them from others on here. They trade at the lower end of the market and as such, they're more suitable for Debs wear than Weddings imo.

Alot of people have recommended Bond Brothers in Goatstown to us.

Have to agree with this, was part of a wedding 2 years ago and they got the groomsmans suits from here. Terrible service, terrible to deal with just all round terrible.

IIRC, they had a major IT problem in the last 2 years with their customer database, it may have been that which affected you. all fixed now as far I hear.

I got mine in suits you in liffey valley. great price. great service. much better price than any of the other high street shops. I recommend.

went with them, would happily recommend. Give us a discount, happy with their service.

Looked at Tangos and the other suit place in temple bar (name escapes me) , and but for price we would have went for either of those.

In fairness, the suits are broadly similar in a lot of the decent shops. Service and price generally set some apart from others.

    Hi,
Try " Suits You " in liffey street Dublin, my brother got his debs suit there and they have an outfit builder online that he was able to pick any combination of outfit before he went in. They do the same for weddings. suitsyou.ie hope this helps !!

Another bad experience with Black Tie here. Suits my brother hired smelled of puke the day he got them, and weren't the size he had arranged. Bad all round. Ended up ditching the suits and going to another place in cork.
