Canyon Roadlite frameset, including carbon fork and headset for sale, as I need to make room for my latest purchase. Great handling frame, size 50cm, and fits me perfectly at 5ft7 but should work for slightly shorter or taller as well.

Only lightly used so in mint condition and never raced or crashed. I have attached a pic, and can get more pics or arrange a viewing if anyone is interested.

More details as per the attached link (which also has links to various reviews etc).

    €285 ONO

    Cheers

(just to clarify that price is for frameset only, i.e. bottle cages, front mech, brakes and saddle in the picture are not included in that price)

    what weight is the frame?

    what weight is the frame?

It's the Canyon entry level frames and it's a full alu frame so I wouldn't be too hung up on it's weight. My Roadlite 6 is incredibly stiff, a very solid and assuring ride and corners very well IMO. Not bad €285.

What part of the country are you in?
Any bars or anything else you could throw in as part of a deal?

@ Hungrycol, Thanks, I agree. I have a number of bikes and genuinely like this one but I picked up another bargain elsewhere, hence the sale.

@ Steve Marquis, I haven’t actually weighed the frame myself but the weight quoted on the canyon website is 1.4Kg which is good IMO. The weight quoted is for a medium frame so this one will in fact weight bit less. If you want I will try to weight the frame over the next day or so; I am working late this evening so it will be tomorrow before I get around to doing this.

    @ Fago

I am working in Dublin City Centre but am on the m50 a couple of times a week so can maybe meet you somewhere, alternatively I am up and down to Wexford / Waterford most weeks as well so can easily organise a meeting there or anywhere along the way with a bit of notice, if you were to make an offer.

I have a load of bits in the shed including various bars and stems / saddles etc, which we can discuss later (will def do a good deal on any of that stuff if you take the frame) but for now if you don’t mind can we just stick with organising a deal on the frameset otherwise negotiations become overly complicated – make me an offer and if is ok we can go from there

    Cheers

This is an aluminium frame with a carbon fork, right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 421 ✭✭Kebel

Yes, Frame is aluminium, and Forks are carbon with an aluminium steerer with 2 – 2.5 inches of uncut steerer so there is loads of adjustability there.
